Barbarella

I wanted to see Lost in Translation so bad last night. But I could not find the actual DVD ... only the case. So I instead decided to watch Barbarella. Yes - not quite in the same realm as Lost in Translation, but a fun movie nonetheless. I think that movie actually has some pretty cool set designs and cosumtes, even though there is noy much to any of Barbarella's. And also, Duran Duran got their name from the movie! The evil doer in the movie is named Duran Duran, and that is what the band named themselves after.

In addition to being a kind of lame movie, Barbarella was originally a comic by a French guy. Figures ...
