Scanners Remixed by Blamma! Blamma!

The dark, dance-y post-punk London quartet Scanners (MySpace) just was remixed by Blamma! Blamma!, a couple Londoners who've also done rad remixes for other cool groups like Blood Red Shoes and Maximo Park.

The original "Raw" is dark and gritty; like Siouxsie & the Banshess cross-bred with older Metric or something. It's a pretty cool tune. And the remix actually does it quite a bit of justice ... it's just as gritty and tight-knit, but with a more blatant electronic edge that certainly works for clubs if not your home stereo as well ...
