Dusty Diamonds

I'll be the first to say that I'm certainly not a fan of Chromeo. Maybe it's the bastardization of the Canadian duo that Indie 103.1 has willful participated in, maybe it's just the off-putting chubby guy, maybe it's just the plain cheese. I dunno. I don't get it. Sorry, dudes.

I'll tell ya what I do like, though. Dusty Diamonds. The electronic outfit -- from, I might add, the Swedish boonies -- not only has revitalized something of appeal in Chromeo with their remix of "Fancy Footwork," but has proven that the French ain't the only ones who can completely and utterly dominate clubs and dance floors across the globe. At times, Dusty Diamonds might sound derivative of Justice, but they've this ghetto, old skool rap edge and go so heavy on the reverb that it's hard to make the connection a fair one.

Listen to ... everything they've got below! From what they're telling me, Dusty Diamonds will be around in a big way in 2008, so keep an eye and an ear out ... but I'm sure you'd figure that out yourself -- just listen!
